A Hole in the Roof
REPAIRING A MISSION IN HAITI
-built the first ever showers, three of them, tiled and covered.
-purchased and installed a brand new generator, installed new electrical, outdoor lights and a back-up battery power system.
-completed construction of a new three-classroom school on the mission grounds, which opened in September 2011.
None of the above existed before and without your support none of it would have happened. Generous donations by Art Van Furniture and Roger Penske/Penske Automotive provided air travel to transport volunteers to do the building. Gifts for the children were also provided by Somerset Collection and The Grand Traverse Pie Company. TO DONATE TO OUR CONTINUED EFFORTS IN HAITI, PLEASE CLICK HERE.
