SAY Detroit's Mi-Cycle program repairs used bicycles and provides them to children and adults in underserved communities who need transportation for work, school, medical care, recreation, and other activities while helping Detroit become a more bike-friendly city. With the help of partner organizations, we identify recipients and distribute refurbished bicycles as needed.
We also partner with organizations such as the Michigan Veterans Foundation and the Detroit Recovery Project to hire and train individuals who have fallen on hard times and are ready to return to work.
