Making a House a Home

June 02, 2014

May 31 – Southfield – More than two dozen A Time To Help volunteers spent their Saturday morning sprucing up a house that is home to several special needs adults.

The home, called “Webster House,” is one of 20 operated by Angels’ Place, a Michigan non-profit group whose mission is to provide “people-centered services” to adults with developmental disabilities.

Workers planted flowering azaleas and other annuals and also spread eight yards of new mulch on landscaping beds. In addition to this, they stained a ramp walkway leading up to the house as well as the spindles and railings of its deck.
