EAT Detroit Kicks off at Michigan Central for a Monday Funday (and Night!)

Now an annual tradition, the sold-out fundraiser held on June 9 brought the familiar elements attendees have come to love — delicious food and drinks, generous volunteers, adventure exploring our city’s finest offerings — with the excitingly new, like two exclusive parties at the restored Michigan Central Station, and new restaurants. In total, participating restaurants this year have over 20 James Beard Award nominations, and thirteen of them were named as one of the Detroit Free Press’ “Top 10.”

This year’s event raised $200,000 to support SAY Detroit’s mission, which provides pathways to success for Detroiters in need!

EAT Detroit a Delicious Event for City, Patrons

More than 1,000 attendees donned teal and purple wristbands as they made their way around 25 restaurants in downtown, midtown, and Corktown clusters to sample tasting dishes and craft cocktails as EAT Detroit returned for its better-than-ever third year on Tuesday, June 27.
