SAY Detroit

Thank you for joining us for EAT Detroit! All proceeds from tonight's event support SAY Detroit. We hope you enjoyed delicious food and good company in the city we call home.

A 501(c)(3) charity founded by bestselling author Mitch Albom in 2006, SAY Detroit provides pathways to success for Detroiters in need. This is achieved by direct efforts and with civic and community partners, and through programs such as an after-school motivational learning center for youth, 8-18; a free family medical clinic; a housing program for working families; and other learning, health care and housing initiatives for Detroit’s most vulnerable populations. It also supports local partner charities with funds raised at a live annual Radiothon held in December on WJR (760 AM).

Many of those community partners serve as volunteers during tonight's event!

SAY Detroit

With your ongoing support, patients at the SAY Detroit Health Clinic regularly share their positive experiences and appreciation for quality health care. Students at the SAY Detroit Play Center at Lipke Park are always excited to be at the Center spending time with friends, teachers, and coaches. Our work continues through your help — please consider making a donation now, and keep in touch until the next EAT Detroit by joining our newsletter, below.

We invite you to read our 2023 Impact Report to see how your donation dollars are being put to work.
