EAT Detroit Success!
On Monday, June 8, we hosted many of you at our annual EAT Detroit fundraiser, with nearly 1000 guests in attendance. Guests traversed the city, enjoying food tastings at nearly 30 of Detroit’s most desired restaurants — from Corktown to Midtown and of course, Downtown, all to benefit our most underserved citizens. Thank you for joining us!
Celebrating SAY Play’s Class of 2026
Join us in saying “Congratulations” to SAY Detroit Play Center at Lipke Park’s graduating high school seniors! 100% of our registered and affiliated seniors graduated, and more than 70% are going on to a four-year college. Congratulations, SAY Play Class of 2026!
Summer Camp Starts This Week
The team at SAY Play welcomed, in partnership with DiscoverWorks, 250 students to our free six-week summer camp this Monday, June 29! Our team has developed fun and engaging learning experiences to support the whole child. The SAY Play camp is open to rising 3rd -12th graders and includes academic programming, creative arts, sports, and fun field trips.
SAY Clinic Expands Programming for New Moms
The Clinic’s First Year program offers one-on-one counseling, education, supplies and access to helpful resources. Girl Talk, similar in format to our Wellness Wednesdays meetups, was with their babies in tow, moms discussed healthy relationships and the need to break dysfunctional family patterns.
