A Time to Help Buckets of Rain – June 2018

ATTH volunteers will paint a large storage unit and perform general gardening duties at Buckets of Rain, which provides fresh produce for the homeless and hungry in Detroit. Volunteers will be working at the nonprofit’s urban garden in Highland Park, located across the street from the S.A.Y. Detroit Family Health Clinic.

Date: Saturday, June 9, 2018

Time: 9 am – 12:00 p.m.

Location: Across the street from the S.A.Y. Detroit Family Health Clinic, 211 Glendale Ave., Highland Park, MI., 48203 | Map

Parking: Available in the clinic’s parking lot, and on Glendale.

Volunteers Needed: 20

Attire/Other Info: As this is an outdoor project, please dress appropriately. Paint will be provided — thank you Motor City Paint Co. for the donation! — but please bring rollers, paint brushes, etc.,  if you’re interested in that aspect of the project. If you want to help in the garden, please wear gloves; Buckets of Rain is providing the gardening equipment.

Note: If rain is forecast for the duration of the project, the event will be cancelled. Watch the skies!
