It’s beginning to look a lot like… the holidays!

For a dozen A Time to Help volunteers on August 22, a summer Saturday brought early holiday joy as they helped the Detroit Goodfellows package more than 3,000 dental kits for the organization’s holiday gift boxes. Each kit includes a toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, and a healthy dental habits pamphlet.

Kits will be distributed to children across Detroit this winter, ensuring our most vulnerable have the tools and resources they need to build healthy dental habits. Pairing up with the Detroit Goodfellows, founded in 1914 as the The Old Newsboys’ Goodfellow Fund, has become a semi-regular tradition since 2021.
