Habitat for Humanity Detroit Blight Blitz! Volunteers helped Habitat Detroit and its community partners clean up the Morningside Commons neighborhood on Detroit’s east side. They boarded up vacant homes, removed debris, trimmed hedges and trees, and mowed grass. They concentrated on the streets between the two local elementary schools in our efforts to ensure children have safe passageways to school.
