We have a special weekday opportunity this month to help another volunteer group complete a landscape project at one of SAY Detroit’s Working Homes/Working Families projects. We have added another task – building a fence line along the back of the property – and we are looking for an additional 8-10 volunteers. Although we’ll be supervised by a professional, please know that there will be some heavy lifting involved.

Time: 9:30 am – 1:30 pm
Location: 19302 Stotter, Detroit, 48234 (located on the west side of Van Dyke Ave.)

Attire/Other info: Unless it’s inclement weather, the project is a rain or shine event. Please dress appropriately, in layers, and feel free to bring your own work gloves. All tools will be on site. We’ll take a short break at 11:30 am (sandwiches) for lunch, and refreshments will be provided as well. Our next ATTH project is scheduled for Tuesday, June 27 – EAT Detroit, our second largest fundraiser of the year. Volunteer registration is open now!
