A Time to Help the Pope Francis Center

Every morning, the Pope Francis Center’s mission is driven by volunteers who serve breakfast and lunch, manage laundry and showers, distribute hygiene items and clothing, and much more for over 200 guests each day. When you arrive for your shift, their staff will walk you through the day and assign tasks. Volunteer roles include: Food Service, Front Office and Showers, and Laundry Service.

Location: They operate at Ss. Peter & Paul Jesuit Church at 438 Saint Antoine St, Detroit, MI 48226. | 438 Saint Antoine St, Detroit, MI 48226. | Map

Parking: Complimentary volunteer parking is available at the UDM Law School gated parking lot, located on Larned directly across the street from the Center. Enter the Center near the courtyard between UDM Law School and Ss. Peter & Paul Jesuit Church.

Attire/Other Info: Volunteers are asked to wear long pants and closed toed shoes. Snacks and refreshments will be provided – and don’t forget to pick up a free ATTH T-shirt if you don’t have one! Please don’t attend and unregister if you don’t feel well. This is a registration-only event.
