Now that Memorial Day is behind us, it’s time to look ahead to the rest of the summer.
A reminder that A Time to Help isn’t taking a break until August; it’s the only month of the year that we don’t have a project.
We hope your summer plans include spending time with your family and friends — and of course, with us!
So please mark your calendars for our next two project dates: The first is June 24 at our S.A.Y. Detroit Play Center at Lipke Park in northeast Detroit. Registration will open by week’s end (probably Thursday) at atimetohelp.org. We’ll be rolling up our sleeves and deep cleaning the inside of the facility. We’ll be asking for a large group of volunteers for that one as we want to get a lot accomplished in a short period of time.
Our July project will be helping Angel’s Place at one of its locations. We’re not sure where yet, but we do have the date: July 15. So please mark it down.
