April 22 is Earth Day and A Time to Help volunteers will be spending the morning at the Ernest T. Ford Recreation Center helping the city of Highland Park with outdoor and indoor projects, including general maintenance, cleaning, painting, etc. A more complete list of tasks will be sent to all registered volunteers closer to the event. SAY Detroit is grateful to the Ford rec center and its staff for being generous hosts of some of our programming operated by the SAY Detroit Family Health Clinic, including Wellness Wednesdays, a monthly women’s support group.

Parking: Free parking in the lot across the street from the center; street parking also available.
Attire/Other Info: Please dress accordingly as part of the project will be outside, weather permitting. We might need to borrow some lawn tools, and other items, but we will put out a list a few days out to all registered volunteers. Please remember to write your name on them and collect before you leave. . . Refreshments, snacks — and complimentary ATTH t-shirts — will be provided.
