On Saturday, October 25th, seventeen A Time to Help volunteers dedicated their morning to packaging soup mixes for Motown Soup. Motown Soup is a 100% volunteer organization that gives 100% of their profits to Michigan nonprofits that serve the homeless population. Our volunteers helped to package:
- 172 mini Chicken Noodle soups;
- 294 full size Chicken Noodle soups;
- 284 Chicken Pot Pie soups;
- 336 Chicken Pot Pie spice packs; and
- 304 Chicken Noodle spice packs.
The day’s efforts yielded a total of 1390 completed mixes, valuing nearly $5500 in funds raised for local charities once the mixes are sold by Motown Soup in its shop and online at motownsoup.com. Thanks to our volunteers, Motown Soup is able to fund vital community programs around Michigan!
