The first house rebuilt and donated through Working Homes/Working Families went to Kristy and Amando Wilson, parents to eight children, whom Mitch wrote about in his weekly column in the Detroit Free Press. They had been living in a mold-infested rental. They are thrilled with their new home, rebuilt by volunteers from the Time To Help Program and made beautiful with donations from many generous people and businesses in the community. They are the first recipients of a home through the program, introduced here by one of Mitch’s weekly columns in the Detroit Free Press.
