Red Wing Captain Supports Health Clinic
October 27 – Highland Park, MI – Detroit Red Wing captain Henrik Zetterberg and his wife, Emma – through their charitable foundation – donated $40,000 to Mitch’s S.A.Y. Detroit Family Health Clinic in support of ongoing efforts there to provide free healthcare for homeless mothers and children.
Stocking Up For Motown Soup
October 18 – Utica, Michigan – More than 60 A Time To Help volunteers that included 20 walk-ins joined Mitch Albom to work in tandem with members of Trinity Lutheran Church to package soup, cookie, and cornbread mixes that will be sold by local charity Motown Soup in order to help those in need.
Working Mom Gets Help Sprucing Up New Home
June 21 – Highland Park, MI – Nearly 40 volunteers worked alongside members of Highland Park’s Revival Tabernacle Church to clean up a house that will soon become home to a working mom and her two kids.

May 31 – Southfield – More than two dozen A Time To Help volunteers spent their Saturday morning sprucing up a house that is home to several special needs adults.

Time To Help Renovate A Community Center
A Time To Help is teaming up with Ravendale Community, Inc. on Saturday, April 26 to clean up an old, abandoned building that will soon become the new home of the Ravendale Community Center.
Detroit Charities Rewarded
DETROIT, March 26 – More than a dozen Detroit charities were grateful recipients of more than $400,000 in donations distributed from Mitch Albom’s “S.A.Y. (Super All Year) Detroit Radiothon.” The monies were collected in a single 15-hour broadcast last December at the Somerset Collection in Troy.
Albom handed out 14 oversized checks at a ceremony held at WJR Radio in Detroit’s FisherBuilding Wednesday morning. With him was Dr. Chad Audi of the Detroit Rescue Mission, which facilitates the “S.A.Y. Detroit” charity founded by Albom in 2006.
Food Bank Restocked
This past Saturday, March 22, Time To Help monthly volunteers came out in record numbers to help sort more than 20,000 pounds of food to be distributed to Detroit’s needy by Gleaners Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan.
