Throughout the month of August, Better Together has partnered with local organizations to get Detroit students returning to school on September 7th classroom-ready. On Wednesday, August 25th, more than 300 were handed out by Darryl Woods (Better Together Director), Pastor Spencer Ellis (Citadel of Praise), and community members including local law enforcement and activists.
