Nov. 21, 2015 – DETROIT – Working side by side along a trio of tables, nearly 30 volunteers representing A Time to Help assembled and packed kits filled with recycled materials at Arts & Scraps.

October 3, 2015 – Westland, MI – Fifteen A Time to Help volunteers braved the chilly temperatures and blustery winds to lend a hand at the DTE-Energy Garden in Westland.

August 15, 2015 – Detroit, MI – Fifty volunteers braved the heat and spent most of the morning pruning and removing large trees and shrubs from the grounds of the S.A.Y. Play Center in an effort to both beautify the campus and make it safer.

June 6, 2015 – Detroit, MI – Nearly 50 volunteers spent the morning cleaning up and clearing out the new S.A.Y. (Sports Academics Youth) Play Center near 7 Mile and Van Dyke, current site of the closed Lipke Recreation Center.

May 9, 2015 – Detroit, MI  Thirty-five volunteers joined neighborhood residents near Brush and Custer to plant vegetables, herbs, and flowers on a one-acre lot that’s part of the Michigan Urban Farming Initiative.
