Detroit Charities Rewarded
DETROIT, March 26 – More than a dozen Detroit charities were grateful recipients of more than $400,000 in donations distributed from Mitch Albom’s “S.A.Y. Food Bank Restocked
This past Saturday, March 22, Time To Help monthly volunteers came out in record numbers to help sort more than 20,000 pounds of food to be distributed to Detroit’s needy by Gleaners Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan.

A Time to Help Volunteers partnered with The Greening of Detroit and the Detroit Water and Sewage Department to bring together over 160 volunteers on Saturday, October 19, 2013. Volunteers planted more than 120 trees along Pierson and Braile from 7 Mile Road to Pembroke Avenue.
