Bag A Cause, a hand-made bag company, from Detroit, MI, has a new cause: “A Hole in the Roof Foundation”
Bag A Cause promotes business through collaborative venues supporting local charities. Bag A Causes’ designs and adornments stand alone in their unique blend of rustic and contemporary; co-collaborating with local charities inspires the designing and the motivation to be meaningful.
The President of Bag A Cause, Sherry Krug, and her partner, Karen Orr, were listening to Mitch Albom on his radio show talk about “A Hole in the Roof Foundation” and the children in Haiti that he wants to provide a kitchen and a bathroom for, and they were inspired. Karen, grew up helping her father, a builder, and Sherry, a licensed real estate broker, has rehabbed many homes so they understand the bare necessities that “A Hole in the Roof Foundation” is trying to provide. Helping the charities deliver their services really touched both Karen and Sherry. The idea of helping faith based organizations is the icing on the cake!
