More than $1 Million Distributed to Detroit Charities
Detroit, Michigan – March 17 – Representatives from 20 area charities gathered Thursday at the Fisher Building to accept checks totaling more than $1 million in donations raised at Mitch Albom’s fourth annual S.A.Y. Detroit Radiothon last December.

S.A.Y. Detroit Play Center teams up with Pistons
The S.A.Y. Detroit Play Center is excited to announce their newest partnership with the Detroit Pistons. The Pistons will be donating $600,000 over 6 years, refurbishing the basketball court, scoreboard and gym floor, but most importantly they will help fund the academics that is the foundation of S.A.Y. Play Detroit.
Three Families, Three Homes at Radiothon
As has become tradition during each annual S.A.Y. Detroit Radiothon, three deserving families received the keys to their new homes through the Working Homes/Working Families program. The idea of Working Homes/Working Families is simple. Detroit has too many abandoned houses. It also has too many families who lack a decent place to live.
